This is the twenty-eighth installment of West Wind, your daily drop of thoughts, ideas, and info for this Season.

Today will be a photo post! Since I don’t have a smartphone, I carry around a compact yet powerful digital camera to capture whatever moments strike me. I’ve been told that this is a trendy thing to do now, which makes me feel even more like a hipster than usual. If you’re subscribed to my now-monthly newsletter the ZMT Books Dispatch, you’ve probably seen the sunset photo at the end of every issue. Our house is situated in an open space with the western horizon very clear of trees and obstructions, so we get some amazing sunsets regularly. Now I get to share them with you all!

And that’s only a portion of last year. One more sunset until tomorrow, try and take a good look at it if you can!
