This is the one hundredth installment of West Wind, your weekly drop of thoughts, ideas, and info for this Season. Today is also not Friday the 13th, which is great! Not that I’m superstitious or anything…
It’s that time of the week again for a lore drop from that wacky wild-west world Frontier Flora! This week is pretty special, since I don’t normally share beasts that are featured in upcoming stories, to keep the effect of the mega-drop when the new story comes out. But this one is just too good to keep in the corral.
A little sour but still adorable, this week’s beast is up and ready for the hunt. Plus, it stood still long enough for our talented camp artist to make a gorgeous portrait of it. You know you want to check it out now, right?
But that’s not all! The next FF short story still needs more work to be fully ready, so it won’t be coming out today as you might have guessed from last post. Turns out trying to do three different creative projects at once isn’t feasible, even when I have “all day” to work on them!

The primary project this month is still Counterbalance, and it’s still happening! Six posts are up now, with two more on the way.
