This is the seventy-sixth installment of West Wind, your weekly drop of thoughts, ideas, and info for this Season.

Frontier Friday rides again! It’s been a little bit, I know, but the latest crop of Florabeasts wasn’t quite ripe yet, and needed a little more time on the vine. Or on the branch, or in the ground, depending on what you’re after. But no need to worry, even though we’re nearly a month away from the beginning of Autumn, there’s still plenty of time to finish up your chores for the Summer. This week’s Florabeast isn’t well-suited to pull a cart or a plow, but it can definitely keep you safe from wandering Gasts or other aggressive beasts while you work.

Instead of the usual spread of book covers, I thought it would be nice to feature the current Frontier Flora short stories on Friday instead. Did I say current because there might be another one coming soon? No idea what you’re talking about. Enjoy the weekend!
