This is the seventy-seventh installment of West Wind, your weekly drop of thoughts, ideas, and info for this Season.

Welcome to this week’s Frontier Friday! You aren’t mistaken, there haven’t been any other posts since last Friday. Mostly that’s because writing time is hard to find, and the time I do find is taken up with a fun new project. It’s also because I’ve been mildly sick lately, which seems to preclude any new narration projects that I take on.

Fellow author Olivia McCarthy has agreed to let me narrate her For the Stars trilogy, including currently released Reach and Rising, and the still-in-development third book due out at the end of this year! The entire project will take the entirety of next year to complete, so look for the finished audiobooks at the end of 2026. I’ll share any updates that I can, but until then, you have a new Florabeast to uncover!
