This is the seventy-ninth installment of West Wind, your weekly drop of thoughts, ideas, and info for this Season.

Don’t want to lose that streak! My newsletter provider encourages/pressures me to post by pointing out how many consecutive weeks I’ve sent out at least one email. I’m up to six, and was a lot higher before I went on vacation a couple of months ago. Has it really been that long? It certainly has. I’m not saying that I’m sending out regular updates because of any sort of expectation that doing so is going to help me sell books or anything, because it won’t. I’m just doing it to stay productive, and because there are still fifty more Florabeasts to reveal in Generation 1! That, to me, is super exciting. This week’s specimen isn’t one that you would want to let your housecats chew on, for a number of different reasons. Enjoy the weekend, and look forward to some fun stuff happening next week!
